That short drive is what makes it the easiest same-day return of all — leave the coast after breakfast, spend the day on the snow and be back in Nice, Cannes or Monaco in good time for the evening. The fixed one-way fare starts from €220 in the Comfort class, per vehicle, not per person.
The price is agreed when you book and does not change with traffic, weather or your landing time. The same chauffeur meets you at the terminal and takes you, your luggage and your equipment to the door of your accommodation. In winter conditions, add 15 to 30 minutes to the times below.

Valberg can be reached by two routes, and the choice depends on the day. The first follows the Var inland and then climbs through the Cians gorges to Beuil, from where the road continues to the resort. The second stays longer in the Var valley and comes up via Guillaumes. Our drivers know both and pick the one that suits the conditions and the time of day.
Both roads are mountain roads, narrow in places and winding through the final climb, and the conditions can change between the valley floor and the resort. From 1 November to 31 March every vehicle on this route runs on winter tyres and carries snow chains, as the Loi Montagne requires. Our chauffeurs drive these roads throughout the season and fit chains, when needed, before the steep sections rather than on them.
Count 1h30 to 1h45 on a normal day. After fresh snow, on busy weekends or when chains are required, allow 15 to 30 minutes more. For the return we agree a departure time with margin, and we tell you in advance if the forecast suggests leaving earlier.
With the shortest drive of the three resorts, Valberg is the natural choice for a single day on snow from the coast. A typical day: pickup at your hotel, apartment or villa in Nice, Monaco or Cannes in the morning, a full day in the resort, and your chauffeur waiting at the agreed time and place in the late afternoon to drive you back. You are on the coast before dinner without having driven a mountain road yourself.
Outward and return are two fixed fares, and the return time is set when you book. Families on a Riviera holiday often book Valberg for one or two days in the week, choosing the days by the snow forecast. If you would rather have a long lunch in the resort and come back later, tell us when you book and we plan around it.
The short journey makes Valberg particularly well suited to families with young children and to first-time or occasional skiers who want a day in the mountains without a long drive. A private transfer adds door-to-door service, room for equipment and a departure time that fits your day.
