Chauffeur Service to Michelin-Starred Restaurants on the French Riviera

We are the car, not the table. Door-to-door transfers and evening standby for guests dining at the starred houses of the Alpes-Maritimes, Monaco and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.

Getting to a starred table on the Côte d’Azur

Dinner at a starred house on the Riviera is rarely a five-minute drive. The tables are scattered from Menton on the Italian border to Ramatuelle beyond the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, many of them at the top of a corniche, inside a Monaco palace with controlled access, or at the end of a village lane where nobody parks. Mira Azur drives guests to those doors and waits, so the evening is not shaped by the car. We are a chauffeur company with our own vehicles and our own drivers. We do not book tables, we hold no affiliation with any of the houses listed on this page, and we take no commission from them. What we sell is the transport: a fixed price agreed before you travel, a driver who knows where each entrance actually is, and a return whenever the last course ends. Most of these dinners run to four hours or more. A taxi hailed at midnight in Èze or on the road out of Ramatuelle is a gamble; a chauffeur who has been waiting for you since the aperitif is not.

How a dining transfer works

Door to door, both ways. We collect you at your hotel, villa, yacht berth or directly at Nice Airport, and set you down at the restaurant entrance — not at the nearest car park. The return is part of the same booking. The chauffeur stays on standby. For most dinners we quote an evening at disposal rather than two separate transfers. The car stays nearby for the whole service and you leave when you are ready, not when a meter says so. Late nights are normal. Kitchens on the Riviera serve late in summer. Our drivers work the full evening and the return is included whatever time the table breaks up. Nobody drives after the pairing. Wine pairings are half the point of these menus. With a chauffeur the whole table can accept them, including the person who would otherwise have driven.

Starred houses in the areas we serve

The list below covers the starred restaurants of the Alpes-Maritimes, Monaco and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez within our operating zone, with an approximate drive time from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport in normal traffic. We transfer guests to all of them, and to any other address you give us. Menton & Roquebrune: Mirazur (Menton). Monaco: Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris (Monaco); Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac (Monaco); L’Abysse Monte-Carlo (Monaco); Blue Bay Marcel Ravin (Monaco); Pavyllon Monte-Carlo (Monaco); Le Grill (Monaco); La Table d’Antonio Salvatore au Rampoldi (Monaco). Èze & the Corniches: La Chèvre d’Or (Èze). Nice: Flaveur (Nice); JAN (Nice); Les Agitateurs (Nice); L’Aromate (Nice). Cannes, Le Cannet & Mandelieu: La Villa Archange (Le Cannet); Bessem (Mandelieu-la-Napoule). The hill villages: Alain Llorca (La Colle-sur-Loup). Saint-Tropez & the gulf: La Vague d’Or – Cheval Blanc St-Tropez (Saint-Tropez); La Voile – La Réserve Ramatuelle (Ramatuelle); Colette (Saint-Tropez). Each house below is listed as MICHELIN-starred, checked against the official MICHELIN Guide listings on 2026-08-07. We deliberately do not publish star counts: the guide is revised every autumn and counts change. For the current number of stars, see the guide itself.

What actually makes these journeys difficult

Monaco. The principality restricts access and parking around the palace hotels, and on Grand Prix and Yacht Show weeks whole streets close. Our drivers use the drop-off points the doormen expect and re-position outside the closed perimeter while you dine. The corniches and hill villages. Èze, La Colle-sur-Loup and the medieval villages have narrow lanes with no through traffic and no parking at the end of them. The correct set-down point is often 100 m before the restaurant, and it is not obvious to a driver who has never done it. Menton and the border. Mirazur sits on the last kilometre of French coast. Traffic on the Basse Corniche in summer can add half an hour each way, so we leave earlier rather than arrive late for a fixed seating. Saint-Tropez and Ramatuelle. In July and August the road into the gulf is the constraint, not the distance. Two to three hours from Nice is realistic in season, and the return after midnight is far quicker — which is exactly when taxis are impossible to find. Yacht and jet arrivals. We collect from the quays of Antibes, Monaco, Cannes and Saint-Tropez and from the private terminals at Nice and Cannes-Mandelieu, and we hold the car for the exact seating time.

A note on who we are

Mira Azur is a private chauffeur company based on the French Riviera. We are not a restaurant, we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with any of the establishments named on this page, and we hold no reservation rights at any of them. Restaurant names and distinctions are stated here as verified facts to help guests plan transport, and belong to their respective owners. Bookings for the tables themselves are made directly with the restaurants or through your concierge.

FAQ

Do you book the restaurant table for me?
No. We are a transport company only, with no reservation rights or affiliation. Book directly with the restaurant or through your hotel concierge, then give us the address and the seating time and we handle the rest.
Will the driver wait during dinner?
Yes. For dining evenings we normally quote a chauffeur at disposal, which keeps the car and driver available for the whole service. You leave when you choose and the waiting time is already in the price.
How late can the return be?
There is no cut-off. Riviera kitchens serve late in season and our chauffeurs work the whole evening, so a return at one or two in the morning is routine and carries no night penalty beyond the tariff agreed in advance.
Can you take us to more than one address in an evening?
Yes. An aperitif in one town, dinner in another and a late stop somewhere else is a normal disposal booking. Tell us the plan when you book so we allocate enough hours.
Do you collect from a yacht or a private jet?
Yes. We collect from the quays at Monaco, Antibes, Cannes and Saint-Tropez and from the business aviation terminals at Nice and Cannes-Mandelieu, and we can hold the car so a late arrival still makes the seating.
Why does this page not say how many stars each restaurant has?
Because star counts are revised every autumn and any number we print can go out of date between editions. We only state that a house is MICHELIN-starred, checked against the official guide listings on the date shown above the list, and a house that no longer holds a star is simply removed. For the current count, consult the guide directly.
