Ski Isola 2000 for the day and be back on the coast for dinner — a fixed-price private transfer from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, about 95 km and 1h45 to 2h door to door.
Isola 2000 is the closest high-altitude ski resort to the Côte d’Azur, and that changes how you can use it. With a private transfer from Nice Airport — about 95 km and 1h45 to 2h in normal conditions — you can land in the morning, ski the afternoon and be back on the coast for dinner, or base yourself in Nice, Cannes or Monaco and treat the mountains as a day out. Our fixed one-way fare starts from €220 in the Comfort class, per vehicle, not per person.
The price is agreed before you travel and does not move with traffic, snowfall or the time you land. The same chauffeur collects you at the terminal and drives you to the door of your residence or chalet, with your skis, boots and luggage in the same vehicle. In winter conditions, allow an extra 15 to 30 minutes on the figures below.
| Route | Distance | Typical duration | In winter conditions | Price (Comfort) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nice Airport (NCE) → Isola 2000 | ~95 km | 1h45 – 2h | +15–30 min | from €220 |
The quoted fare is the price you pay. Nothing is added at the resort for tolls, fuel or mountain driving, and the same vehicle and chauffeur take you from the terminal to your accommodation.
Every price below is a fixed, per-vehicle fare for a one-way private transfer from Nice Airport to Isola 2000 — not per person. Ski and snowboard equipment travels free in the vans; in the sedans it is carried on request, so tell us what you are bringing when you book.
| Class | Vehicle | Passengers | One-way price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Comfort | Tesla Model 3/Y, Škoda or similar | 3 | from €220 |
| Business | Mercedes E-Class | 3 | from €290 |
| Van | Mercedes V-Class / EQV | 8 | from €290 |
| Business Van | Mercedes V-Class VIP | 7 | from €370 |
| First Class | Mercedes S-Class | 3 | from €470 |
The same private transfer to Isola 2000 also runs at a fixed price from Monaco, Cannes and Antibes — pickup at your hotel, villa or residence.
| From | Price (Comfort) |
|---|---|
| Monaco | from €220 |
| Cannes | from €270 |
| Antibes | from €250 |
From the airport the route heads inland along the Var and then follows the Tinée valley on the M2205, passing through Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée and then Isola village, the old settlement on the valley floor. From the village the road leaves the valley for the final climb to the resort, a series of hairpins that gains height quickly and ends at the purpose-built resort platform.
The valley section is long and winding rather than difficult, but it is where the conditions change: the lower road is often clear while the final climb is white. That is why every vehicle on this route runs on winter tyres and carries snow chains from 1 November to 31 March, as the Loi Montagne requires, and why our drivers — who make this trip throughout the season — decide on chains before the climb rather than halfway up it.
On a normal day, the transfer takes 1h45 to 2h. After fresh snow, on busy Saturdays or when the final climb is being cleared, allow 15 to 30 minutes more. We plan the pickup time around your flight and the forecast, and if conditions on the day call for an earlier departure for the return, we tell you in advance.
Because the resort is under two hours away, a same-day return is realistic and is the way many of our clients use Isola 2000. A typical day: an early pickup at your hotel or apartment in Nice, Monaco or Cannes, a full day on the slopes, and the same chauffeur waiting at an agreed time and place in the late afternoon to drive you back to the coast for the evening.
For a day trip we price the outward and return legs as fixed fares and agree the return time when you book. If you want a slower day — lunch in the resort, a late return — tell us when you book and we plan around it. Families who stay on the coast during the holidays often book two or three of these days in a single week rather than moving the whole household up to the mountains.
A private transfer makes the most sense when you travel with equipment, children or a group, or when you want to control the timing of a short trip. You load once at the door, nobody carries skis through a bus station, and the vehicle leaves when you are ready.
